Update round-up

@media 2006: Europe's Premier Web Design Conference. London, 15th - 16th June.First, I’m going on a trip to England in June. The reasons are “because I’ve always wanted to go there” and to attend the @media 2006 conference in London. Molly inspired me to this mix of work and vacation. While I’m there I expect to visit relatives that I’ve corresponded with, but never met. I want to see London, Stonehenge, Devonshire, and Cornwall. Side trips to Scotland and/or Paris are possible depending on if and who goes along.

Second, I went to Mom’s for a weekend earlier this month and my brother and I took a little kayaking adventure on the Saturday morning. Check out the pictures here or on Flickr.

I thought there would be a third thing, but I guess not. I’ve been keeping really busy at work and that has often extended into working at home in the evenings (both an advantage and a downside of a good content management system). The aforementioned redesign here may or may not happen soon. I ordered a new lens for the Digital Rebel yesterday in anticipation of upgrading the Rebel to the newly-announced EOS 30D later this year (I don’t know about before the trip though).

That and I hear that June is the best possible time, weather-wise, to visit England. This week’s milestone was completing the conference registration process. [...]

i would say ‘when?”, since we’re thinking of visiting that area in June also..but it would be really silly to go all the way overseas to meet up, methinks….
