I found this Eastern Black Swallowtail Caterpillar chomping away on the dill plant on a Saturday morning. I saw its mother laying eggs a couple of weeks or so earlier. (6/21/03)

I spotted the munching evidence and found a caterpillar on this purple passion vine in the morning and then took these photos after work. I counted at least 10. They were Gulf Fritillary caterpillars. (6/24/03)

When I bought the yellow milkweed nine days before taking this picture, I didn't know it had Monarch eggs on it until I found four of these eating when I got home from work this day. I have never seen Monarchs here, I guess that will change. (6/23/03)
