July 16, 2005 - One of the most frequently asked questions of the 11 months prior to this day had been, "Have you been to the Butterfly Rainforest yet?" My answer was always that I was waiting for it to fit into the schedules of both myself and the friend with whom I most wanted to go for the first time. This was that day. And for those who don't know, the "Butterfly Rainforest" is a wonderful attraction at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera Research at the Florida Museum of Natural History (www.flmnh.ufl.edu) at the University of Florida.
